Fani „Z Archiwum X” tak długo czekali na tę wiadomość, że teraz pewnie nie uwierzą. 10 grudnia padnie pierwszy klaps na planie „The X-Files 2″.

Nad scenariuszem filmu pracowali twórcy popularnego serialu, Frank Spotnitz i Chris Carter.

Szczegóły fabuły wciąż nie są jednak znane.

Na fotelu reżysera „The X-Files 2″ zasiądzie pomysłodawca, współscenarzysta, producent serialu „Z Archiwum X” – Chris Carter.

Bohaterów filmu, agentów specjalnych Foxa Muldera i Danę Scully, zagrają oczywiście David Duchovny oraz Gillian Anderson. Aktorzy spotkają się na planie po długiej przerwie. Ostatnio pracowali razem pięć lat temu, w 2002 roku.

Zdjęcia realizowane będą w Vancouver, w Kanadzie.
